Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer animal rescue
organization that specializes in the bull breeds especially pit bulls. We rescue
abused, unwanted and stray dogs and find them responsible, safe homes where
they can thrive both physically and mentally. We believe that the public needs
to be educated about the breeds characteristics to understand the breeds that
we love. Through humane education programs and activities, we hope to make the
public better understand the bull breeds that so often discriminated against.
These activities include:
- Fun shows that include activities that can be done with your dog (i.e. weight pull, conformation, obedience, protection, and agility).
- Educational seminars for families especially those at risk of illegal activities which frequently include dog fighting.
- Community education programs to enlighten the residents of what is happening in their community.
