LIABILITY WAIVER

I hereby acknowledge and recognize the possible risk in working with animals, and that it can lead to serious injury, or even death. I hereby understand and assume the responsibility of any and all liability and risk volunteering for Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue. I hereby waive and release Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue, its agents and representatives, from any and all claims which may accrue to me, my heirs, guardians, administrators, executors, or assignees, including my attorney's fees and court (collecting cost "claims") arising out of, or in the connection with being a volunteer. I also grant permission to Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue and its authorized agents to use my name, image, and any other record of my participation.

ANIMAL EXERCISING AND DOG WALKING
Volunteers work with animals to provide exercise and help continue and improve social skills in the animals.

EVENT VOLUNTEER
Volunteers should be willing to work on an as-needed basis before and during fundraising events. Assistance in preparation for events is also needed, which includes mailing, research, brochure distribution, etc. On event day, duties include setup, decorating, photography/ videography, registration, ticket booth, serving, etc.

ANIMAL GROOMING
Volunteers will bathe and groom animals before going to their new homes, or as needed.

HUMANE EDUCATION
Volunteers will assist in handing out information at the summer fairs, events. Volunteers are also needed to help form new programs for the Humane Educational Initiative.

FOSTER CARE
Volunteers provide in-home care for animals that are sick or too young for adoption. CBBR will identify animals that require foster care and provide food and equipment to foster homes for the proper care of the animal. Foster homes are licensed by the Department of Agriculture, and are subject to inspection by CBBR on an annual basis.

LOST AND FOUND DEPARTMENT
You will help match owners with their lost pets. Duties will include checking lost pet bulletin boards, lost pet ads in the classified newspaper ads, and work with other shelters to locate lost pets.
